As the “Williton Flyer” steams through the Somerset countryside from Bishops Lydeard, one of the passengers will not be going home alive…! Can you solve the mystery and help bring the criminal to book before the train arrives back at Bishops Lydeard…?
Professionally staged by the well known Duchy Murder Productions, “Murder on the Williton Flyer” gives travellers twenty miles of steam train travel on a summer evening, with a chance to exercise those ‘little grey cells’ along the way, as the plot unfolds before your very eyes. You can visit the murder scene and choose your suspect, before putting questions to the cast and testing your theories as the story unfolds.
Whilst the train is being serviced at Williton, a locally baked pasty and dessert will be served to you, together with a hot drink. For the aspiring Inspector Morses or Dr Gideon Fells, there will be a buffet car on the train open throughout the round trip, selling snacks, hot and cold drinks, plus beers and ciders from Somerset brewers and farms.
