Retail Assistant - PAID ROLE
We are recruiting for an experienced Retail Assistant to assist our Retail Manager, working in the shop and cafe on Bishops Lydeard station for up to 4 days (32 hours) a week, including weekends and to deputise in the manager's absence.
We are ideally looking for someone from a retail/catering backgrouond with cash handling experience, an excellent customer service record and volunteer management experience, with a definite 'hands-on' approach.
This is a seasonal role to start in May and finish in October 2018.

Steam Rally Volunteers
The annual Steam Fayre and Vintage Vehicle Rally is our major fundraising event. In 2018 it will be held on 4th and 5th August. It is a major event in the Steam Rally Calendar and we could not run it without an army of enthusiastic volunteers.
The Planning started in November 2017. We need help before, during and after the event with a range of tasks from Marshalls and Safety Officer to Barmaid and Programme Seller.

WSRA Land Steward
The Trustees are seeking a steward to advise on the maintenance and upkeep of the 33 acres the charity owns at Norton Fitzwarren.
The right applicant should have farming and general land management knowledge and experience. The land is designated agricultural land and there are arrangements in place for use by a local farmer.

The WSRA owned Quantock Belle dining train is operated and run by the WSR plc. They are recruiting for new volunteers for the bar, the kitchen and stewarding roles. The work is varied, fun and rewarding and previous catering experience is not essential as full training will be given.
