• The WSRA has a number of area groups, which exist in a number of centres to support and promote the Association and the Railway and organise social events in their 'home area' for members. Area groups currently exist in Taunton, Bristol and London/Home Counties, and efforts are currently being made to set-up groups in other areas, including Cornwall and Exeter.

Meetings are normally held on the FIRST MONDAY of the month (July & August excepted) at the Great Western Staff Association Club (at the north east corner of Taunton station), starting at 7.45pm.

The Bristol group meets on the last Tuesday of the month between September and April at the BAWA, Southmead Road, Filton, Bristol starting at 7.30pm for 7.45pm. Admission £2.

Would you please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2007/8 season of meetings of the WSRA Bristol Area Group, due to start on September 25th, have been cancelled. We very much regret having to take this action but feel this is the best possible method of dealing with the situation we find ourselves in.
